Every business is required to have their fire extinguishers be inspected and in compliance once a year. This includes making sure you have proper coverage, and the correct size/type needed for application. Typically, (with no additional fire hazards), you must be within 75 ft. of actual walking distance to a fire extinguisher at ALL times.

Your jobsite may require monthly fire extinguisher inspections by safety personnel. We’re here to take one more thing off your monthly to-do list of safety checks. If you're short on manpower or time- Jones fire takes care of the rest.

If your extinguisher was accidentally discharged, or used in an active fire, there’s a good chance it can be recharged and/or repaired for less than the cost of a new one. If the cylinder is of older age and completely empty, replacement with new/refurbished may be your best option.

When a fire extinguisher becomes 6 years old, it is required to be disassembled and inspected internally for further certification. This is typically less than the cost of replacement- and the fire extinguisher is good for another 6 years of inspections afterwards- provided it doesn't get damaged or discharged in that timeframe.

If a fire extinguisher becomes 12 years old, it is required to be pressure tested to ensure integrity of the cylinder. The time and resources required for testing typically meets or exceeds replacement cost, so this service is not offered at this time. We will gladly replace your old extinguisher with NEW at a price that's hard to beat. Compliant annual inspection tag good for ONE year is included in the price of new extinguishers.

If you are constructing a new building, or never have had fire extinguishers at your business- we are happy to provide and install brand new fire extinguishers in compliance with fire code. Not sure how many and what type is needed? Not a problem. We will arrive at your place of business and quickly determine what you need to be legal and in compliance. Afterwards, we may return ANNUALLY to keep you automatically up to date upon request.
